" EB Magalona Mayor David Lacson yesterday confirmed that an 8-year-old resident of his town died from dengue Friday.
Dr. Ernell Tumimbang, OIC Provincial Health Officer, said this brings the number of dengue deaths in Negros Occidental to 27.
Clark Balolot, 8, a grade two pupil of Nanca Elementary School died Friday at the Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City.
He is the first dengue casualty in EB Magalona that has had 99 dengue cases this year, the town’s Municipal Health Office records shows."
