Dengue Fever Kills 126 Thais In First 10 Months

Via Bernama :

" Public Health Minister Dr. Pradit Sintavanarong said 126 Thais have succumbed to dengue fever from January to the first week of October this year, Thai News Agency (TNA) reported.

A total of 133,377 dengue cases were reported in the same period with most cases occuring in 11 provinces particularly in the Central region.

More than 9,000 cases were reported in September alone, lower than the average 20,000 reported every month in the past.

Dr. Pradit said although dengue fever is on the decline, health officials will continue their campaign to destroy mosquito breeding sources in 10 major provinces including Bangkok, where half of dengue patients lived."
