" HARARE, Nov. 8 : A fresh cholera outbreak in the eastern Marange district in Zimbawe has killed at least 16 people and infected hundreds others, media reports said on Monday.
The disease broke out in the rural district famed for its diamond activities last month, and had reportedly killed 16 people as of the 2nd of this month, the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation reported.
It quoted Deputy Minister of Health and Child Welfare Douglas Mombeshora as saying that a total of 753 cumulative cholera cases had been reported with 669 suspected while 86 cases had been confirmed over the period."
