India : H1N1 claims four more lives

Via Times of India, more fatalities being recorded in Pune :

" PUNE: The H1N1 influenza claimed four more lives, taking the death toll in the city to 320 since August 2009. Two of the four victims hailed from other districts of the state. According to state health officials, Vaishali Babanrao More (35), a resident of Pulachiwadi in Shivajinagar, fell victim to the virus at the Sassoon Hospital at 5.45 am on August 8.

Chaya Mahesh Shelke (21), a resident of Bangarda village in Ahmednagar district, died due to swine flu at the Sassoon Hospital at 8.30 am on August 8. Shelke had fever and cough for eight days and breathlessness since two days. Another victim, Dhanaji Shivram Chandgude (31), a resident of Moregaon Supa in Baramati, died due to the swine flu infection at the Sassoon Hospital at 10.45 pm on August 8. Chandgude had fever, cough and cold for five days.

The fourth victim Shailesh Shyamrao Kaijkar(31), a resident of Mudkhed in Nanded district, died due to swine flu at the Deenanath Manageshkar Hospital at 10 am on August 9. Kaijkar had fever, cough, running nose and body ache for eight days."
