India : H1N1 claims three more

" PUNE: The H1N1 influenza claimed three more lives, taking the death toll in the city to 313 since August 2009. All the three who succumbed to the H1N1 infection were from rural parts of Pune.

According to state health officials, Pushpa Balasaheb Musale (30), a resident of village Manchar in Pune district, died due to swine flu at 9.15 pm at Poona Hospital on August 6. Musale had fever with chills from 10 days and breathlessness from five days. Kamal Bhage Rakshe (38), a resident of village Tawarewadi in Pune district, died due to swine flu at Sassoon General Hospital at 8.20 am on August 7. Rakshe had fever and cough from eight days. Jagdevi Nagappa Jamadar (27), a resident of village Kalumbre in Pune district, died at YCM hospital at 5.30 pm on August 7.

"All the three had tested positive for the H1N1 virus," said state health officials."
