" Lucknow, Aug 5 : A 38-year-old man died due to swine flu at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, officials said here today. Ram Shanker, a resident of Jaunpur, was admitted on Tuesday night in a critical condition. He later tested positive for H1N1 viral infection.
Shanker died during treatment at SGPGIMS, they said. This is the third swine flu death in the state in the last 17 days, they said. Earlier Jatan Prasad (40) of Badaun and Jyoti Singh (25) from Barabanki died due to swine flu in the state. Even since the outbreak of H1N1 virus in March 2009, UP has reported 1,313 lab confirmed cases, of these 21 had died."
