" Doctors have affirmed the fifth case of cholera in Mariupol, Donetsk region.
Ukrainian News learned this from a statement by the press service of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service, the wording of which was made available to the agency.
"The fifth patient with signs of acute enteric infection in the city of Mariupol, who got ill on May 24 and was hospitalized on May 30, has been affirmed today as having cholera today. Doctors assure nothing poses threat to his life," reads the statement.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the fourth cholera case was affirmed in Mariupol on June 1.
As of May 29, three patients with cholera underwent medical treatment in Mariupol."
