" The Bolivian government warned Thursday that a new type of flu virus, which affects the lung, will likely spread in the South American country due to low temperatures.
Bolivia's Health Minister Nila Heredia said this flu virus is aggressive and has greater proportion than the A/H1N1 flu virus.
But infections can be prevented with the same measures used for the A/H1N1 virus, she said.
Heredia said low temperatures, mainly in the west of the country, are mainly responsible for the spread of the infections.
According to Bolivia's National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology, low temperatures are expected to continue till the second half of July."
