" VADODARA : A day after three cholera cases were reported from the city, medical officers from Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) have sprung into action.
A mobile team of medical and paramedical staff was sent to the areas from where the patients had been reported.
The team carried out a survey-cum-awareness programme on Monday. The three patients were from Navapura, Navidharti and near Jamnabai Hospital in the old city area.
Residents in these areas were handed over pamphlets advising people to boil water before drinking.
We sent a mobile team including doctors, paramedics and other staffers. They have started the awareness drive. The team also examined residents and suspected patients were given medicines and oral rehydration solution packets," said in charge VMC health officer Dr Dilip Asari."
