"TEGUCIGALPA, June 22 : The Honduran government declared on Tuesday an emergency state due to the increase of dengue cases, a disease which has killed nine people this year in the country.
Acting President Victor Hugo Barnica, after a ministers council meeting, announced that an Inter-institutional Commission of the Emergency for the Dengue Prevention and Control was established to deal with the situation.
President Porfirio Lobo is absent for supporting its national soccer team in South Africa."
