Via DNA India :

" Mumbai: Swine flu, that had all but receded from short-term public memory, reared its ugly head again recently, claiming a victim in Bhayandar on Wednesday.

Sambhaji Panpatte, deputy commissioner of Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC), said the victim, Rekha Kirtikumar Shah, 52, was a resident of Bhayandar.

On the morning of June 16, Shah had woken up with a fever. By noon, she had become serious and was rushed to Hinduja Hospital in critical condition.

Even before doctors could figure out that her symptoms were those of swine flu, Rekha breathed her last on Wednesday night. In her death report doctors have said that she died from swine flu.

Accordingly, MBMC has also issued a death certificate stating that she had swine flu."
