An article via New Straits Times :

" MUAR: There is no cause for alarm as the dengue situation in the country is still under control.

Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the ministry was monitoring the situation closely."Although the number of dengue patients is 35,420 as of Sept 18, which is much higher than 31,061 in the same period last year, the ministry has intensified all precautionary measures.

"Among them is to have more environmental awareness campaigns nationwide, such as to intensify the COMBI (communication behaviour impact) campaign to encourage the public to help the government in carrying out cleanliness projects.

"Among the projects under the campaign are gotong-royong, health talks and seminars," he said in his speech, read out by his political secretary Leong Kim Soon, at the closing of an anti-dengue campaign here yesterday.
