" Makassar : The director of Wahidin Sudirohusodo hospital in Makassar, Andi Kalsum Patonangi, stated P, a 2-year-old bird flu suspect patient, is positive bird flu infection.
The diagnosis was taken after intensive examination by the medical team. The patient is now under intensive treatment, said Kalsum.
Patient had developed high fever, breathing difficulty and flu-like signs but now his condition’s improving, added Kalsum.
The patient probably got infection from contact with birds when his condition was weak."
