Argentines urged to take anti-dengue measures during Easter travel abroad

Article from Xinhua, excerpt :

" BUENOS AIRES, April 19 : Argentina's Health Ministry on Tuesday asked citizens travelling to Bolivia, Paraguay and Brazil during the Easter holidays to take precautionary measures against dengue fever.

"The people who during the Holly Week next weekend will travel to zones with dengue should exercise maximum caution in order to avoid being infected with the disease," Argentine Health Minister Juan Manzur said.

Since the beginning of the year dengue fever has reportedly killed 30 people in Paraguay, 20 in Bolivia and 95 in Brazil.

Manzur appealed to all Argentines to pay special attention to any symptom such as fever, muscular pain, headache, vomiting and eye pain in the days following their travelling and immediately report to their doctors if any such symptoms emerge."
