" Malaysians going abroad are advised to take all the necessary precautions against influenza A (H1N1).
This is because some 214 countries have reported confirmed cases of H1N1, with 18,001 deaths reported between April last year and May 2.
In a related development, he said four people from the state Drainage and Irrigation Department quarters in Tekek, Rompin, had been isolated after they were confirmed positive.
"Fifty-nine others who came into contact with them have been placed under observation," he added.
Dr Ismail also said 16 pre-schoolers from Tadika Anak Riang in Puchong Jaya had been treated for influenza-like-illness (ILI).
Throat swab samples showed six of the pre-schoolers tested positive for H1N1."
