The latest H1N1 update from Malaysia's MOH :
" In the last 24 hours, only one (1) report of ILI cluster case was reported from the state of Johor as shown in Appendix 1. The remaining number of ILI clusters that are still active in the country is reduced to 35 from 40 the previous day.
A total of 31 new cases were confirmed positive influenza A (H1N1) by the laboratory, bringing the total cumulative cases of influenza A (H1N1) to 15,050 cases. The remaining ILI cases that are being treated in hospital wards across the country are 501 cases of which 53 cases or 10.6% confirmed positive influenza A (H1N1).
The number of H1N1 patients being treated in the ICU is eight (8) and six of them are individuals who have risk factors. N o new fatalities were reported, bringing the total fatalities remaining at 88."
