" Raipur, Aug 18 : A 55-year old man today succumbed to swine flu in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur district. Abdul Gafoor, who had been admitted to the Apollo hospital in Bilaspur five days ago, died during treatment today, hospital sources said.
This is the first swine flu death reported in the state this year. Meanwhile, another woman tested positive for the disease in Durg district, health officials said adding that she has been admitted to Durg's Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Hospital.
Last year, 11 persons had succumbed to the viral disease in the state."
