" After a three-month gap, swine flu has resurfaced in Madhya Pradesh, where the disease has claimed three lives till now this month, a top Health Department official said on Wednesday. Twenty-two positive cases of H1N1 virus have also been reported in the state.
"Two persons in Jabalpur and one in Indore died of swine flu this month and 22 others were suffering from this disease," Health Department Joint Director B M Chauhan said.
No case of the dreaded viral disease was reported in the state between May and July, he said.
One person died on August 3, the second succumbed to the deadly virus on August 11 in Jabalpur and the last death was reported from Indore on August 15, he said.
Of the 22 H1N1 positive cases, two are in Bhopal and the rest in Jabalpur and Indore, Chauhan said."
