" Even as Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) officials continue to deny dengue deaths in the city, hospitals are reporting deaths caused by the vector-borne disease.
On Saturday, a 37-year-old woman from Viveknagar died of dengue in St. Philomena's Hospital.
Confirming the death, a spokesperson for the hospital said the victim, Vijaya Rani, was admitted to the hospital two days ago after she developed complications."
