Hong Kong : Two linked imported cases of dengue fever investigated

Another press release from the Centre of Health Protection in Hong Kong, this time with regards to dengue :

" The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health is today (October 11) investigating two related imported cases of dengue fever and urged people to guard against the disease.

The first patient was a 26-year-old man who developed fever, cough, vomiting, muscle pain and skin rash since September 23. He was admitted to Pok Oi Hospital on September 26. He recovered and was discharged on October 4.

The second patient was a 32-year-old man who was presented with fever, headache and muscle pain on September 23 and was admitted to a private hospital on September 24. He was transferred to Yan Chai Hospital for further management on September 29. He recovered uneventfully and was discharged the next day."
