" Guwahati, Oct 12 : In the first dengue death in the North Eastern region, the vector-borne disease claimed a life here, official sources said today. Devi Prasad Sharma died of dengue at a private hospital here last night, they said.
He was admitted to hospital in a critical condition. Six other persons suffering from dengue fever have been admitted to different hospitals in the city, they added."
