An article from Focus Taiwan :
" Taipei, Oct. 5 : The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) on Tuesday urged Taiwanese nationals visiting India to remain alert to the danger of being infected by drug-resistant bacteria carrying the NDM-1 gene.
The MOFA said Taiwanese citizens who are in India for business or pleasure should pay special attention to disease prevention if they need to be treated at a hospital in the South Asian country.
The MOFA warning came after Taiwan reported its first superbug case Monday -- a cameraman for cable TV news station TVBS who contracted the disease while being treated in an Indian hospital after being shot during a visit to New Delhi in September."
