Article from New Straits Times :
" PORT DICKSON: The Adenovirus infection at the Army Basic Training Centre here has been brought under control. However, as a precautionary measure, 84 police trainees were still placed under quarantine, said Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.
He said two trainees who were infected with the Adenovirus earlier this month were still being treated at the district hospital, while others who were earlier admitted, had since been discharged.
He was speaking to reporters after launching the National Health and Morbidity Survey 2011-2014 here, yesterday.
It was earlier reported that since March 30, a total of 30 trainees had been admitted to the district hospital in stages with suspected Adenovirus and H1N1.
In view of this, Liow said all army and police training camps should be restructured to ensure less congestion and better ventilation to help curb the spread of viruses."
