" BANGALORE: Barely two days into the monsoon and the deadly H1N1 has raised its head again. Karnataka has recorded two deaths already.
On Monday, a 58-year-old woman from Bangalore died at a private hospital here after being treated for H1N1 flu for almost a month.A 30-year-old man, admitted to hospital on June 1, died on Monday at a private hospital in Udupi.
According to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases director Dr Shashidhar Buggi: "Low temperature is favourable for the spread of H1N1 flu. We are also receiving sporadic and isolated flu cases. Early detection and intervention will prevent and control the disease from spreading."
