More reports coming out of Indonesia with regards to Bird Flu and as always Ida at Bird Flu Information Corner is on the case :
" Sintang : Until the beginning of September 2010, Agriculture and Livestock Service (Distanak) of Kabupaten (municipal) Sintang has not been confirmed free of bird flu H5N1. So far, H5N1 cases in chickens are still reported from the field.
“Last dead chickens report was 25 August from people in Kelurahan Kapuas Kanan Hilir (Masuka) Sintang. Those chickens were tested positive bird flu H5N1,” said veterinarian of Sintang, Sriwanto, DVM.
Sriwanto also regretted the statement of West Kalimantan Livestock Service which saying that Sintang had been freed from bird flu"
