" Udupi: A man died of the Influenza A (H1N1) at the Kasturba Hospital in Manipal on Wednesday.
Sources in the Health and Family Welfare Department told The Hindu that the patient, who was 35 years old, was a resident of Marvanthe village. He had been admitted to Kasturba Hospital a few days ago.
The department had conducted fever surveillance in Marvanthe village and no cases of influenza-like illnesses had been detected there, the sources added.
