The latest from the Ministry of Health in Malaysia :
" n the last 24 hours, only one (1) report of ILI cluster case was reported from the state of Selangor at shown in Appendix 1. There are a total of 64 active ILI clusters remaining throughout the entire country.
A total of 14 new cases confirmed positive influenza A (H1N1) by the laboratory, bringing the total cumulative cases of influenza A (H1N1) to 14,864 cases. The remaining ILI cases that are being treated in hospital wards across the country are 540 cases of which 45 cases or 8.3% was confirmed positive influenza A (H1N1).
The number of H1N1 patients being treated in the ICU is five (5) in which all the individuals have risk factors. No new fatalities were reported, bringing the total fatalities remaining at 87."
