" SURAT: A four-year-old girl, who was under treatment for swine flu, died here on Wednesday afternoon. Muskan Gopal Singh was admitted to Surat Municipal Institute of Medical and Education Research (SMIMER) at 10 pm on Tuesday in a severe condition.
Furthermore, recent history of the victim shows no visit outside the city. She might have got infected within the city itself, doctors attending to her said. Muskan, a resident of Bhakti Nagar in Pandesara, was in a very serious condition when admitted to the hospital.
Although the swine flu infection was confirmed only on Wednesday, she was given medication for the virus soon after her admission. But, the treatment could not help. Samples of four other suspected swine flu patients were tested, but were found negative. "
