" KUANTAN, Aug 3 : Pahang has recorded 887 dengue cases until Aug 1 this year, compared to 582 cases during the same period in 2009.State Local Government, Environment and Health Committee chairman Datuk Hoh Khai Mun said the number of cases increased by 50.7 per cent from the previous year.
Kuantan showed the highest number with 505 cases, followed by Temerloh (87), Rompin (62), Bentong (50), Maran (43), Raub (36), Jerantut (28), Lipis (24), Bera (24), Pekan (17) and Cameron Highlands (1).He said the State Health Department had also identified seven problematic localities in Kuantan and one in Bentong."
