" Turin : Two patients suffering from the H1N1 virus have died today at the Molinette hospital in Turin, where they were hospitalized in the intensive care unit. One of the victims was moved about ten days ago by the hospital of Verbania and had cardiorespiratory problems and was obese (130 kg).
The other victim was also an obese man who prior to being admitted to Molinette had been hospitalized in Novara and Vercelli. Both patients had undergone ECMO, the equipment that allows the extra-corporeal circulation.
Meanwhile, last night in the Molinette hospital, another patient hit by the H1N1 was transferred from Novara. He is a 55 year old man with a transplanted kidney and pneumothorax. There are currently three patients with H1N1 in the intensive care unit of Molinette."
