Twelve streets behind Redcliffs Primary School have been evacuated with residents cleared out after cliffs in the area were deemed to be unstable. The Redcliffs suburb is on the way to Sumner. The army helped police with the evacuation, which started about 10pm. Police said residents left willingly and have gone to welfare centres at Cowes Stadium and Pioneer Stadium.
