Dengue fatality reported in Karnataka, India. Article from Deccan Herald :
" A youth from Yaragunta in Raichur taluk, died of dengue on Friday. Another two persons from the village are also suffering from dengue and are being treated in a private hospital, in Bellary.
Narasimhalu (23), was down with high temperature for the last few days and was admitted to a private hospital in Raichur. When the fever failed to subside, he was shifted to a hospital in Bellary. The doctors confirmed that Narasimhalu was suffering from dengue. However, he failed to respond to the treatment and passed away. Narasimhalu was just married.
Narasappa and Thimmakka, of the same village are also suffering from dengue and are undergoing treatment. As many as 10 persons are said to be suffering from intense fever. Every day, at least four persons are visiting the Raichur hospital.
Village residents told Deccan Herald that the Government doctors had not visited the village so far."
