Taiwan bans Nebraska poultry following a case of avian flu

Via Khas TV :

" A case of avian flu detected last month in eastern Nebraska has led Taiwan to ban poultry imports from our state.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service says the ban took effect Monday.

Nebraska's ag spokeswoman says the ban is because of the state's investigation and quarantine of backyard flocks following that bird flu case.

That case was considered to be isolated, but Taiwan still considers it a threat.
Nebraska ships only eggs and egg products to Taiwan."
