" Bulambuli leaders have placed the district medical personnel on high alert following an outbreak of cholera in the neighboring Mbale district.
At least two people have been confirmed dead and more than 50 hospitalized following a cholera outbreak in Mbale. Most of the victims have been hospitalized at Busiu Health center.
The Bulambuli Resident District Commissioner, Nabende Wamoto says ever since the disease outbreak a fortnight ago, the district has mobilized its medical staff to handle any cases reported in any part in the district."
