" Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 6 : A six-year-old girl died of H1N1 in Kerala, as 20 more tested positive for the pandemic influenza today.
Gopika, daughter of Giridharan, hailing from Chendrapinni in Thrissur District, was admitted to the Medical College Hospital in Thrissur following severe fever, cough and vomiting, according to State H1N1 Control Room here.
Of the 20 new cases, ten were from Ernakulam, six from Thrissur, two from Thiruvananthapuram, one each from Kottayam and Palakkad.
Meanwhile, total number of patients under Hospital Quarantine in the State was 30 and under Home Quarantine 85.
Throat swabs of 36 patients were sent for lab test, it said."
