Philippines : Over 1,000 dengue cases reported in Caraga

" BUTUAN CITY, Philippines : Dengue has affected 1,112 in Caraga Region, reports revealed.

The Center for Health Development Caraga has reported that Butuan City has the highest number of cases with 434, followed by Agusan del Sur, 185; Surigao del Norte, 128; Surigao City, 96; Surigao del Sur, 88; Agusan del Norte, 81; Bayugan City, 39; and Cabadbaran City, 23.

Bislig City has 16 dengue cases, Dinagat Islands, 16, while Tandag City in Surigao del Sur province has 6.

According to DOH-Caraga regional information officer Sunshine Alipayo those affected ranged from from less than one month to 84 years old.

Majority of these are males."
