Egypt : Beheira man said to die of swine flu, other cases reported in Daqahliya

" A man was said to have died of the H1N1 virus, or "swine flu," in the Nile Delta governorate of Beheira on Tuesday.

Mohamed Abdel Gawad, 35, was hospitalized for two days after showing symptoms of the disease.

“We also took samples from his family members in order to test them,” said Health Ministry Undersecretary Hisham Atta.

Another five alleged cases of swine flu were discovered in the neighboring governorate of Daqahliya, while 20 others suspected of having contracted the disease were quarantined. Of these, 12 have since been released.

In Port Said, meanwhile, another three people were also reported to have been diagnosed with the disease."
