A reported released by the Ministry of Health, via Xinhua :
" BEIJING, July 9 : A total of 806,110 cases of infectious diseases were reported from the Chinese mainland in June that left 1,623 people dead, according to a report published by China's Ministry of Health (MOH) on its website Friday.
Of these cases, two were Class A infectious diseases such as plague and cholera. And one man died of plague.
Altogether 342,649 Class B diseases were reported which left 1,436 dead. Tuberculosis, viral hepatitis, syphilis, dysentery and gonorrhea were five most frequently reported cases, accounting for 93.85 percent of all Class B cases, the report said."
