" 13 January 2011 : The Ministry of Health of Egypt has announced a new case of human infection of H5N1 avian influenza. A 10-year-old male from Giza Governorate, developed symptoms on 5 January and was hospitalized on 8 January.
He is in a stable condition.
Investigations into the source of infection indicated that the case had exposure to poultry."
