Hong Kong : Public hospitals announce the latest Human Swine Influenza cases (1 fatality)

From Hong Kong's Centre for Health Protection, another fatality has been reported :

" In response to the influenza situation in Hong Kong, the Hospital Authority (HA), in close collaboration with the Centre for Health Protection, has activated the enhanced monitoring system for severe influenza patients staying in the intensive care units of public hospitals. The HA spokesman today (March 18) said that there was no new confirmed case of Human Swine Influenza (HSI).

A 27 month-old girl confirmed with HSI at Tuen Mun Hospital succumbed yesterday due to continued deterioration of clinical condition. The hospital expressed deep condolences to the patient's family."
