Eight HPAI Outbreaks Reported in Viet Nam

" The Vietnamese veterinary authorities have reported eight new outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in the country.

The World Organisation for Animal Health received follow-up report no. 48 yesterday, 30 March.

A total of 14943 birds were found susceptible to the disease, out of which 8342 cases and 5147 deaths were recorded. The remaining 6140 birds were destroyed."
