" MUMBAI: Monsoon maladies continue their onslaught on Mumbai as a 79-year-old woman suffering from malaria died on Thursday and two kids were diagnosed with cholera.
BMC corporator Vinod Shekhar said the two children with cholera were from Colaba. One of them, a 12-year-old physically challenged girl from Sundarnagari slum, has been admitted to Bombay Hospital's ICU since Wednesday night and the second child has been in Kasturba Hospital.
The second child lives in the servants' quarters of Badhwar Park, the railway quarters in Cuffe Parade. Shekhar said he had asked BMC officials to send out health teams to the area to collect samples. "They will also help spread awareness about the disease and the precautions," he said."
