" LAHORE : A spokesman of Health Department Punjab has said that only one patient namely Nasrullah Khan, 62, resident of Model Town who was under treatment at Ittefaq Hospital died due to dengue fever in Lahore. He said that the death of patient Majid Bhatti, 55, who was under treatment at Jinnah Hospital was not due to dengue fever but rupture of a vein. He was not suffering from dengue fever, he stated.
The spokesman further said that at present, three patients Azhar Mehmood, Hussain Bhatti and Mrs Rukhsana Ali wife of Dr Muhammad Ali Chatha are suffering from dengue fever and are under treatment at Surgimed, Doctors Hospital and Mayo Hospital respectively and their condition is satisfactory."
