" Queensland Health says there are now 43 cases of dengue fever in the state's far north.
There are 35 cases of type 2 dengue and eight of type 4 at East Innisfail, south of Cairns.
A Cairns man has also been diagnosed with the mosquito-borne illness but that case has been linked to the Innisfail outbreak.
Seven people in Townsville have been diagnosed with type 1 dengue fever."
