Malaysia : Seven more Pulapol trainees warded

" KUALA LUMPUR: Seven more trainees of the Police Training Centre (Pulapol) were admitted to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital, raising to 38 the number of Pulapol trainees and staff being treated for adenovirus infection at the hospital.

Pulapol Commandant Senior Asst Comm Zulkifli Mohamed said 19 were male trainee inspectors, 13 female trainee inspectors, five male trainee constables and a member of the staff.

“Two of them, a male trainee inspector and a male trainee constable, are in intensive care,” he said yesterday.

SAC Zulkifli said 693 people, 276 of them male trainee inspectors, 234 female trainee inspectors, 171 male trainee constables and 12 staff, had been quarantined."
