" Six more cases of dengue were registered in the city on Wednesday. This has taken the total number of dengue cases registered in Ahmedabad to 112.
But sources closely associated with the health department said that actual number of cases has crossed 150 during the current year.
Moreover, the civic body will start a separate out patient department (OPD) at various hospitals to screen patients suffering from fever.
Apart from this, the AMC is also planning to promote use of traditional methods to check mosquito bites and vector-borne disease.
Of the total six cases reported on Wednesday, four were registered at Civil Hospital, while two were registered in private hospitals."
