India : Three more flu deaths in State

" Thiruvananthapuram: Two persons from Kollam district died of influenza A(H1N1) on Saturday, while one death reported on Friday from Pathanamthitta was confirmed as caused by the flu. Twenty-five more cases of the infection were reported in the State.

While six fresh cases were reported from Malappuram, five each were confirmed in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam and three each from Pathanamthitta and Thrissur. Alappuzha, Ernakulam and Kannur reported one case each.

Nisha, 21, a native of Kakode in Punalur died at the Government Medical College Hospital on Saturday. Pappan Mathew, 70, from Karimthottuva, Kollam, died at Holy Cross Hospital, Kottiyam. Anish, 29, hailing from Mezhuveli, Pathanamthitta, died at Pushpagiri Medical College Hospital, Thiruvalla."
