Hong Kong : Public hospitals announce the latest Human Swine Influenza cases

Via Hong Kong's Centre for Health Protection :

" In response to the recent influenza situation in Hong Kong, the Hospital Authority (HA), in close collaboration with the Centre for Health Protection, has activated the enhanced monitoring system for severe influenza patients staying in the intensive care units of public hospitals. The HA spokesman said at 2pm today (February 15) that there were no newly confirmed Human Swine Influenza (HSI) cases in intensive care units. A total of 29 influenza patients were still staying in the intensive care units of public hospitals.

Ruttonjee & Tang Shiu Kin Hospitals earlier announced that a 62-year-old critical HSI male patient succumbed yesterday (February 14) due to continued deterioration of clinical condition. The hospital would like to express its deepest condolences to the patient's family."
