Malaysia : Two trainees admitted, 20 isolated

" KUALA LUMPUR : Two National Service trainees have been admitted to hospital with influenza A (H1N1) and 20, who were suspected to have the disease, have been placed in isolation in two camps in Pahang and Johor.

The two confirmed cases are from the camp in Chini, Pahang.Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr Ismail Merican said nine others, who also showed symptoms of the disease at the camp, had been treated and isolated.

A total of 386 other trainees and staff at the camp who came in contact with the sick trainees were now under close observation for H1N1 symptoms, he added.

Eleven other trainees have been treated and isolated at National Service camp in Ledang, Johor.

Dr Ismail said 472 employees and trainees at the camp were under observation."
