" Ten influenza-like illness (ILI) clusters were reported in eight states at at 8am Friday, said Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Mohd Ismail Merican.
The states affected were Kelantan, Pahang, Terengganu, Sarawak, Johor, Melaka, Penang and Negeri Sembilan.
He said as of 5.30pm yesterday, a total of 661 ILI cases were being treated in hospitals nationwide, of which 77 were tested positive for Influenza A (H1N1).
"Thirteen cases are being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with nine cases involving risk factors," he said in a statement here today, adding that the total number of H1N1 cases was now 14,307.
